Stainless steel must be able to withstand corrosion from oxalic acid, sulfuric acid, ferric sulfate, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, copper sulfate, phosphoric acid, formic acid, and acetic acid, and are widely used in the chemical, food, medical, papermaking, petroleum, and nuclear industries. It is also used as parts for buildings, kitchenware, dinning utensils, cars, and home appliances.
