Surged nickel price to support 304 series price in Sep

According to the recent trend of international nickel price, the price has kept at a high level, even it was volatile sometimes. Based on that, the upstream factories came out the news that they “will” raise their price for September, and the market expected the price for 304 series would be probably increased by NT$1,000-3,000/ton.

Based on the data from the London Metal Exchange (LME), the nickel price has reached US$16,185/ton on August 16th. Although the price has calmed down these few days, the risk of the Indonesian ban policy still influenced the price to keep high.
